WELCOME TO THE BUTTER FACTORY RESTAURANT PYREE

For 20 years we’ve been welcoming diners with our warm country hospitality and cuisine. We’re nestled in the picturesque South Coast town of Pyree, surrounded by dairy farms and only a short drive to beautiful beachside towns, Culburra, Currarong and Culburra.

The Butter Factory is rich in history and full of charm and has been part of Shoalhaven’s story since the 1840’s, when it first opened as the region’s largest working butter factory.

Today our family have carried that legacy forward, creating memorable dining experiences through our restaurant, weddings, catering, and events. We’re passionate about the community and highlighting the wonderful local produce. We even grow our own vegetables and flowers on-site to ensure the freshest flavours make it to your plate.

Our seasonal menu celebrates rustic, seasonal country fare, featuring homemade favourites and freshly baked bread made daily in-house. Every dish highlights the best of what’s local, with ingredients clearly marked as grown or sourced from the estate. Come and enjoy the genuine warmth of country hospitality at its best.

Please Note Before Booking

The Butter Factory is a fully licensed venue with no BYO. We welcome large groups and can be hired for private functions. Please be aware that any groups of 15 or more will be required to order from a set menu and must have a pre-booked reservation. If you wish to organise a function outside of our normal trading hours, a minimum of 25 guests or above will be required.
