FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER

We are seeking a passionate and experienced hospitality professional to assist in leading our restaurant team.

Your focus will be on customer service, assisting in the co-ordination of daily operations of the business. We want you to deliver excellent customer service, maintain high standards, train new staff, improve internal processes and build relationships in the friendly local community.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Manage Restaurant operations

  • Maintain exceptional levels of customer service

  • Recruit, manage, train and develop the Restaurant team

  • Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner

  • Delivery of exceptional guest service and ensuring customer satisfaction

  • Work with the chef on menu design

  • Promote and encourage a high level of customer service amongst staff

  • Organise and manage special events

As part of the management team you will lead by example to deliver an exceptional restaurant experience:

  • Display a hands on management style.

  • Establish, implement and maintain appropriate procedures for the restaurant including events where required.

  • Responsible for responding accordingly to customer feedback where required.

  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

  • Ensure the restaurant meets with the highest compliance standards set by the industry.

Skills and experience required:

  • Advanced communication skills and a friendly positive attitude

  • Effective time management and productivity qualities

  • Problem solving and decision making skills

  • Display excellent personal hygiene, presentation and grooming standards

  • A current RSA Certificate

  • A Diploma Qualification OR at least 3 years of relevant restaurant/fine-dining employment experience

  • Strong knowledge about food and wine

  • Excellent customer relation, service skills

  • Attention to detail ensuring that every day runs smoothly

  • Flexibility when it comes to hours and roster

  • High level of attention to detail

FRONT OF HOUSE WAIT STAFF

We're looking to expand our team and need some hospitality professionals for front of house positions.

Full time 4.5 days per week.

Experience and RSA an advantage, but willing to train the right person.
